Take Your Son To Work Day

You may not pay much attention to the NFL even when it IS football season, but one of the things my son and I have enjoyed together for years is the NFL Draft. 

I’m a puzzle guy and I think this is such a great example of trying to put the right pieces together.  A couple of weekends ago, one dad got to share the draft with HIS son a little bit differently.

Chris Vaughn is a scout with the Dallas Cowboys – His son Deuce just graduated from Kansas State & played on the football team there – So when the Cowboys decided they needed another running back, they had Chris call his son – and give him the good news that he was gonna be in the NFL.

Take 5 minutes and watch the video to see the look in this dad’s eye – It’s just beautiful. I know I want to put that kind of look in my heavenly Father’s eye too.
