Get Your Hopes Up

Ever have a day when it seems like you’ve just gotten one thing on your list done and now, all of a sudden, there are 3 more to take it’s place – and you haven’t had a moment to rest! I don’t want to encourage TOO much busyness, but sometimes that’s exactly what’s required.

Some Ukrainian refugees who had finally been given the okay to settle in the U-S, after having lost everything in the war there, but they weren’t ready to settle yet. Many in this new community of refugees in Minnesota had barely had time to get their things off the plane and into temporary housing when they learned about the severe weather that had hit Mississippi. So these refugees got on another plane and flew down to help the people there pick up the pieces.  Brand new residents in the U-S-A, and could not wait to help others. In fact, one of them said “I have learned in my new community that we not only take, but we give back.”  Read more of their sacrificial hearts HERE.
