Non-Food Assistance:
Otsego County Bus System
OCBS is offering free transportation to the public from May 23 through June 3 Call dispatch at (989) 732-6224 to schedule a ride. Bus system hours are Monday through Friday from 6 am to 5 pm. They do ask for patience as they do their best to serve.
Otsego County Government Regarding debris removal:

The City of Gaylord will no longer collect loose construction debris.
Remaining construction debris and rebuilding waste should be handled by the property owner’s insurance companies and rebuilding contractors.
The City of Gaylord will continue to collect vegetation debris at the Gaylord Department of Public Works on Seventh Street in the City of Gaylord.
The Otsego County Fairgrounds debris collection site will be completely closed.

Otsego County United Way currently (Thursday, May 26) has a dumpster onsite for building debris and other non-organic debris like household items.

Free Legal Clinic
Legal advice and counseling will be provided for those affected by the tornado, Friday, June 3 noon to 4 pm at Otsego County Building. This is organized by Otsego County Courts.

Diocese of Gaylord special emergency collection
In continued response to the devastating May 20th tornado that impacted the Gaylord community, all parishes of the Diocese of Gaylord will be taking up a special emergency collection on May 28-29 to provide aid and support to those in need.

Otsego County United Way list of needs:
From Otsego County United Way list of needs from May 26 - Dish soap, sponges, laundry detergent, cleaning products, bathroom cleaners, disinfectant spray, shampoo, conditioner, brushes & combs, first aid supplies, hand soap, napkins, paper plates, plastic utensils, aluminum foil, large ziplock bags, baby formula, toddler food, work gloves, and disposable gloves. “We are kindly requesting the items below. We welcome gift cards to local shops, gas stations, and restaurants. Gift cards offer victims choice, autonomy, and control in such an uncertain time.”
