Promise FM Contest Rules

The Promise FM contests are open to all U.S. residents 18 years of age or older. Employees and immediate family members of Northern Christian Radio and its media outlets, as well as contest sponsors are ineligible to participate, including employees and board members of Northern Christian Radio, Capitol CMG, Universal Music Group, Centricity Records, Word/Curb Records, Provident Label Group, BEC Recordings, Fair Trade Services, Gotee Records, Integrity Music, or other entities involved in this contest and their immediate family members.

  1. Contest entries are entered in on a form through the website or app. There will only be ONE winner.

  2. One entry per person through the website or app.

  3. Prize Restrictions: Only one (1) prize per person per contest. Prize is not redeemable for cash.

  4. The winner is responsible for all taxes related to the prize.  False information, incomplete registration forms or misrepresentation by any winner voids their eligibility to claim the prize. Refusing any of these terms will signify forfeiture of the prize. 

  5. The winner agrees to use prizes at their own risk and will release and hold harmless The Promise FM and its parent, Northern Christian Radio, for all claims that could result in using any and all prizes.

  6. WPHN-FM, WTHN-FM, WQHN-FM, and WOLW-FM, The Promise FM and Northern Christian Radio are not responsible for failure of the phone or Internet system which may cause a contestant to lose the chance to participate.  

  7. The odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries.

  8. The Promise FM reserves the right to make any changes in all contests effective when the change(s) are announced on the air, or when new rules are made available at the offices of The Promise FM, 1511 E M32 Gaylord, MI 49735 during regular business hours. All decisions by The Promise FM are final. 

  9. All prizes must be redeemed within thirty (30) days of winning. Failure to pick up will result in forfeiture of prize. If a winner fails to pick up a dated prize in time to redeem the benefit, the winner forfeits the prize, and no other prize will be awarded in its place. All prizes must be accepted as awarded. The Promise FM retains the right to substitute a prize with another similar prize of equal or lesser value in the event the original prize offered is not available due to circumstances beyond The Promise FM’s control. Inability of winners to accept the prizes will result in forfeiture. Certain prizes may require winner to be 18 years of age or older or have signed permission of parent or legal guardian to accept the prize. Prizes can be picked up at The Promise FM’s studio, 1511 E M32 Gaylord, MI 49735 between the hours of 9am-5pm Monday-Friday. The Promise FM business office will be closed on weekends and all major holidays. If you request your prize be mailed, you relieve The Promise FM of all responsibility of lost, damaged, or stolen prizes. 

  10. Winner must provide The Promise FM with a current, valid, government-issued identification and/or a valid individual’s taxpayer identification number or social security number in order to pick up prize. 

  11. The Promise FM is not responsible for mechanical, technical, electronic, communications, telephone, computer, hardware or software errors, malfunctions or delivery delays or failures of any kind which may limit an entrant’s ability to participate in a contest. 

  12. Any prizes won in a given calendar year (accruing a value of $600 or more) will require a 1099 form, and any taxes associated with winning are the responsibility of the winning entrant. Winner will be advised of the value of their prize upon winning. Prize is non-transferable and is not redeemable for cash.
