The Road to Decision

We are very excited to State Representative Bruce Rendon from the 102nd District, (Wexford, Cadillac) join us on Friday July 22nd, 2016 at 8:00 am on our morning show with Fred Young here at The Promise FM radio. Representative Rendon has been kind enough to speak with us about his district and what is going on in Lansing. We are continuing our "Road to Decision" series, interviewing Northern Michigan State Reps, leading up to Decision 2016 on October 4th in Lansing. Franklin Graham will be in Lansing on Tuesday, October 4th and at NOON he will pray on the Capital Steps for our country and the election in November.Representative Rendon lives in Lake City with his wife of 38 years, Daire Moore Rendon. They have two daughters, and three grandchildren. Bruce owned and operated Rendon Quality Construction for 28 years. He served as the president of the Northwest Builders Association three times, Regional Vice President for two years, an appointee to the MAHB Executive Committee and the MAHB's Secretary/Treasurer. In 2004, Bruce served as president of the Michigan Association of Home Builders, the third largest state building association in the country. He continues to be a Life Director, a voting member of the Executive Board of Directors, voting member of the Legislative Committee, and a voting member of the Insurance Committee at MAHB. Rendon earned an associates degree from Ferris State University in Architectural Design and Drafting.Rep. Rendon and his wife established Renmoor Jersey Farm in 1988 to raise and show Jersey cattle, which they have marketed at prestigious shows throughout the Midwest and Canada. Rendon is recognized as an official dairy cattle judge at county, state, and international dairy shows. He has served as President of the Michigan Jersey Cattle Club and is a Director of that Association, as well as serving on the Michigan Purebred Dairy Cattle Association Committee. He and his family attend St Stephen's Catholic Church in Lake City.Representative Rendon began serving in 2010 as a State Rep, we thank him for his service and for taking the time to speak with us on air and inform  our listeners about his district and what he is doing.
