Fall is in full swing in northern Michigan and Canada, God is showing His glory in the foliage and crisp weather. This monthly update finds us looking, literally around the corner to our Fall Days of Promise, October 9 through 11, with Prayer and Praise Monday kicking off our week on the 8th.  If you would like to join us early with a pre-Days of Promise gift or a matching gift please call Pat at the ministry: 800-545-8857. Let’s see what God has done with your Promise FM this last month! To encourage children and their parents, we created a set of Lunchbox Notes, which are notes that parents can print, cut out, and place in their kids' lunch boxes or any other place that will remind them that they are on their parents' hearts. We also created blank notes with the same pictures and space for parents to write their own message of encouragement. You can print your own by clicking here.September 8th and 9th we attended CityFest West Michigan in Grand Rapids. The Promise FM helped sponsor the event, and was blessed to be invited to attend. Our Afternoon Host, Dennis Hutchinson, even got to announce Lacrae as the headliner on Saturday night! We we able to introduce The Promise FM to the thousands in attendance, as well as meet a large number of people who listen to us when they head up north for vacation.Monday, September 10th The Promise FM sponsored the Big Daddy Weave concert at E-Free Church in Gaylord. It was nearly a "sold-out" crowd, and Big Daddy Weave (with Brandon Heath opening) not only played all their hits, they also brought a strong praise & worship element to the evening, as vocalist Mike Weaver shared the struggles facing Christians and invited audience members to come up front so they could be prayed over.New Business Partners that joined the Promise FM family this year:

As a ministry, we focus on helping those in need, either through an on-air fundraiser for orphans in Guatemala, volunteering at the local food truck, encouraging families to share their love for each other or sharing ways to help those struck by a natural disaster.  This Promise FM blog post offers many different ways we can pitch in and help those affected by Hurricane Florence. This month we thanked you for the difference you make in listeners lives and shared Lindsey's story:“You have no idea probably how much God has used you over the past…what?… ten years through our family. I mean besides praying for our kids and praying for our marriage and all of that jazz…I was at rock bottom. Just… I just didn’t want to keep living. Not that I was going to do anything. I was just…I was done. And I just keep listening to your show in the morning and I’m like one foot in front of the other and God clicked a whole bunch of stuff last night and I’m like, I’m done, I’m done wallowing in this, I am done being tortured by something I already survived. I’m done.”“It’s so much bigger than just great music, and you need to know that.-LindseyThe chance to shine God’s light and encourage each other is the heart of The Promise FM.  You are the driving force behind our ability to do that.  Thank you and bless you, your generosity and commitment to the ministry of The Promise FM.In His Service,Your Promise FM Family.
