Join us for Community of Praise: Day of Worship during Alpenfest!

Gaylord Methodist Church will be hosting their Annual Day of Worship on the front lawn of the church, Thursday, July 11th, during the Alpenfest festivities. Contemporary Christian Band, The Afters, will be providing a special time of worship as well as our Contemporary Worship Team, Friendship Church, and North Life Church of Gaylord from 3pm-8pm. We hope you'll join us for this amazing outreach event, sharing God with our community in a powerful way. 

The Afters have released six albums with the hit singles "Light Up The Sky," "Well Done," and"Moments Like This." They have toured extensively, including vast global outreach with the Billy Graham Evangelical Association. Over their career, the band has developed a robust domestic and international audience, with more than 1 billion career streams. They have also experienced great success at CCM radio with nine singles in the top 15 over their career including six No.1’s. It’s the band’s ability to write the perfect blend of positive, hopeful lyrics with catchy melodies that keeps listeners across the world engaged song after song.

** Some chairs will be provided, but we recommend bringing your own lawn chair as chairs fill up quickly. Also, please bring sun protection as the seating area is uncovered.
