On Saturday June 15th, at 12:00pm, a group of men from area churches will be hosting the first annual Celebrate Fatherhood Walk which will start at the St. Francis church parking lot on Union Street and end at the Open Space in downtown Traverse City.  Following the walk will be a brief  rally open to all featuring a national men’s ministry speaker to inspire, encourage and challenge us with a biblical vision of fatherhood.

We are inviting all men to join us in celebrating the importance of fathers in strengthening families and courageously shaping the future of our nation.

The rally will begin approximately 12:45pm and should last less than one hour. The public is invited, all are welcome. This is a multi denominational event. Presentations will include an opening prayer by Reverend Michael Goers of Trinity Lutheran Church, Introductions by Robert Barnes, an address by guest speaker Al Juarez entitled, "Joseph the Carpenter, a tale of Unexpected Fatherhood", followed by an audience invitation to fellowship.
