Free Advent devotionals
Advent is almost here (or if you are reading this on or after Sunday the 28th Advent-Advent is here!!). This is the season where we prepare our hearts to celebrate our Savior Jesus' birth and focus also on hope, peace, love and joy. I picked up a devotional specifically for Advent and am excited to make it a part of my day! Honestly, though, I also like using online resources too.
In case you are also looking for some free online Advent reads, I have shared some good ones below. If you have any resource suggestions, please let me know. I did stick with these online sources because they do not rely on more than logging in with Facebook or email.
Anticipating Christmas - This 5-day devotional is from YouVersion and can be read via Bible App on your phone, tablet, and computer. The focus is on the four Advent themes of hope, peace, love, and joy.

Embracing Advent - Author Jen Ludwig has a 7-day devotional that walks us through week one of Advent with a reminder to hold on to hope and distance ourselves for a time from the chaos. She also has a book called Embracing Advent if you'd like to go even deeper.

Peace on Earth - This 5-day devotional from LifeWay Christian Resources reminds us that even as we may live in chaos, we can celebrate the birth of our Savior Jesus. He also entered a chaotic time and brought peace on earth.
