Declutter challenge - Day 3
It can be hard finding the time to declutter and organize. Don’t make it a day long thing. Follow that old adage about how to eat an elephant - do it one bite at a time. Today those bites are 20 minutes long.
DAY THREE - DO A 20 MINUTE DECLUTTER IN LIVING ROOM
One of my clutter issues is time and today's decluttering tip from Apartment Therapy is about spending concentrated time decluttering in different rooms.
PS this is not the same as cleaning. We are just removing clutter.
The goal is to grab a basket or bag- a laundry basket works well and head into your living room and start decluttering, keeping in mind the five questions from yesterday. Is something out of place? Don't go on a find and move mission. Put any item out of place into the basket. If you think you will find garbage, put a grocery bag or something similar to grab the trash. After the 20 minutes, toss the trash, put items away that you have found (this could involve bringing some things to your children's rooms and asking them to put their stuff away), and put the other items in the Donate, Sell, or Maybe boxes from day one.
