What’s the best deal you ever got @ a yard sale?  Don & Belinda were checking out the deals in their neighborhood when they heard the worship at the church next door.  Don sings in a quartet, so he wanted to go in & listen, and that’s when he met Pastor Tim.  They hit it off right away, but what Don never told Pastor Tim was that he (Don) only had weeks to live.  He was in desperate need of a heart surgery, but his kidneys were too weak. 

After seeing a plea on FB, Pastor Tim got tested and was a perfect match – a 1 in 20,000 chance!  But on the day it was time to donate the kidney, as Pastor Tim was coming out of the anesthesia, the doctors told him they had found an aneurism in the kidney – and it would have killed him if he hadn’t come in. 

In all the testing, that never came out until the doctors held it in their hands.  Tim’s gift to Don saved his own life.  Read their full story HERE.
