Exceptional Riders Planning to Start Spring Session
With spring flowers, also comes the Exceptional Riders starting their spring riding sessions. Exceptional Riders Program is dedicated to providing horseback riding lessons for physically, mentally and emotionally challenged children and adults. With properly trained instructors, and many volunteers, students ride for one hour, one evening a week, for 8 week in starting mid-April.
Here, they improve their balance, boost their self-esteem and meet many individual goals.
Exceptional Riders is a non-profit 501c (3), helping students at no charge for over 30 years. Exceptional Riders is very fortunate to ride in an indoor arena at Walloon Equestrian Center. The center is owned and operated by Susan Lyons. Many volunteers are also needed to accomplish this goal.
If you are looking to hang out with some great children, adults and horses we need you! Volunteering is not only fun but also very fulfilling. Our first session starts with our Volunteer Orientation this Tues April 18th from 630-800. If you have any question please contact Barb Lane at 231-838-3362.
